About Kleinmond

Kleinmond, a small coastal town situated in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, is a big tourist attraction due to its popularity and whale watching areas.

The name Kleinmond was originally derived from the Afrikaans word “small mouth” which fits this area perfectly seeing that it’s located at the mouth of the Bot River lagoon. With the choice of Lagoon and the close Blue flag Beach, it makes for a perfect destination in the Summer months.

During the colder months, amoungst the waves, the whales breach creating magical moments for those who embrace it. For those looking for another scence of serenity, pop into one of the many coffee shops along the route to full embrace the warm welcome Kleinmond has to offer.

We Love Having You Here.

“This was a nice surprise because the Internet pictures are sometimes misleading, but in this case it was so much more than expected, value for money indeed. We received wonderful friendly service and the gardens are really beautiful. The setup are great and the breakfast were absolutely great and the host really great. We can’t wait to return.”

“VillaChad – Compliment for Excellent”

“We stayed 3 nights in this lovely quiet place. The rooms are clean and big enough. They have a nice private garden with a nice little swimming pool. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. This place is not far from Hermanus and Betty’s Bay is nearby. Here you can see the penguins. This is a nicer plays to see them than at Boulders (Cape Town)”
