It is a hideaway for people who don't want to feel managed, entertained or surrounded by crowds.
And who prefer a tranquil environment over busy hotels or noisy resorts.
With only seven rooms, Villa Chad offers a rare kind of intimacy and luxury.
Set between the mountains and the sea, Villa Chad sits deliberately outside high-traffic tourism. Whilst located at a stone's throw from busy Hermanus or Cape Town, guests choose us for the peaceful surroundings.
Conveniently located at 1h15 from Cape Town, 25 min from Hermanus by car and only a 3 min walk to the famous Kogelberg Mountains or 600 meters from the Atlantic Ocean, our Luxury Guesthouse is a destination on its own!
Our Rooms
One Stay. Three Ways to Experience It.
All rooms at our Luxury Guesthouse Villa Chad based in Kleinmond share the same atmosphere: quiet, comfort, and privacy. They differ only in layout, light, and spatial character.
A minimum stay of two nights is suggested:
to explore the gorgeous surroundings and to relax!
Loggia Rooms
We have five Loggia Rooms, all opening directly onto the inner loggia and looking out onto the tropical garden beyond. Each room is approximately 20 m² and equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Their position within the house creates a quieter, inward facing atmosphere while maintaining a visual connection to the garden. These rooms are well suited for guests who value privacy and comfort.
Garden Room
We have one Garden Room only, directly connected to the garden and filled with natural daylight throughout the day. At approximately 17 m², it is a cozy, well considered space for guests who enjoy being close to the outdoors. The room features a newly renovated bathroom with Spanish ceramics, a modern rain shower and ceiling fan.
Private Suite
Our most private option, featuring a bedroom, a separate living area, and its own garden space. Located in a separate wing of the house, it offers almost a mini retreat within the villa. Both rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and includes a newly renovated bathroom. This suite is most often chosen by guests who value maximum space and comfort.

The House
Our Luxury Guesthouse based in Kleinmond South Africa is designed for our guests to relax and enjoy.
We offer use of shared spaces, including the lounge, conservatory-style breakfast area, and dining room to our visitors.
Outside, the tropical garden offers multiple quiet seating areas around the pool, inviting guests to read, rest, or do very little at all.
Villa Chad is the ideal getaway to enjoy some time away from the crowds for uninterrupted quality time.
