About Villa Chad
A life lived in many places, built into one.
Our story started in South America. Between us, we’ve lived across 5 continents, stayed in hundreds of places, and developed a strong sense of what makes somewhere truly worth arriving at.
When we decided to build our lives together, Villa Chad became the natural meeting point for everything we´ve gathered along the way: business acumen, years of travel, an eye for comfort, and a genuine love for beauty in the details.
Kleinmond gave us the setting; we brought the rest.
Villa Chad has seven rooms, a tropical garden, a pool, a fireplace and a clear sense of what a comfortable stay away from home should feel like. Guests who come here tend to come back.
The Rooms

Three ways to experience it.
All seven rooms share the same atmosphere: quiet, comfortable, and cozy. They differ in size, light, and how they sit within the house. We love it when guests stay at least two nights to enjoy our property and explore the surroundings.
Junior Suite
A bedroom, a separate living area with an extra Queen sleeper couch, its own garden space, and a fully renovated ensuite, all in a separate wing of the house. At 40m², it’s the most perfect choice for guests who want room to settle in properly and enjoy their privacy.

The House
A beautiful Villa at the foot of the Mountains
The lounge with iron cast fireplace, the conservatory breakfast room, and the dining area flow into one another and then out into the garden. Outside, there are quiet corners around the pool for reading or doing very little.
Breakfast is served each morning. The garden is yours for the rest of the day.

Villa Chad sits at the foot of the Kogelberg mountains, part of a UNESCO-protected biosphere and one of the most plant-diverse places on earth. The coast is 600 metres away. The Hemel-en-Aarde wine valley is 25 minutes. Hermanus is 30.

Hermanus is one of the top land-based whale watching destinations in the world. Southern right whales arrive from June through November.
